Our clien¬¬t, a leading industrial company operating in the eyewear components industry, is currently looking for:

Senior Engineer – Zamak

The person will be reporting to the Engineering Manager based in Dongguan, China.

Job Mission:

• Communicate with Sales Department, R&D, or Italian Engineering to implement new project introduction of Zamak
• Work with the group of Engineers in the development of new products, mold, solution, and processes for Zamak Product
• Design, implement and refine product development and manufacturing processes for Zamak product
• Participate to the continuous improvement of production process for the area of expertise

Responsibilities:

• Consulting with Sales and customers on project requirements
• Conduct feasibility analysis for new product and define production process
• Creating comprehensive cost estimates and project lead time
• Solve engineering problems in the process of development and present constructive suggestions
• Ensure that standard operating procedures are follow
• Ensure that health and safety procedures are follow
• Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination with other departments

• Good team leader and team player.
• Excellent knowledge of Zamak injection process & Mold design and construction.
• Understanding of Plastics Injection would be a plus.
• Experienced on mechanical design and manufacturing.
• Computer skill in Office and mechanic design software.
• Good team leader and team player.
• Provide results-oriented services.
• CAE Basics (Finite Element Calculus)
• CFD Basics (Fluid Dynamics Calculus)
• Any notions of RP REV-ENG (3D printers and their management)
• Good Italian and English written/oral communication skills & Chinese is a plus
